Have my Whirlpool Refrigerator for about 10 months now and the upper refrigerator section stop cooling. Call ApplianceCare and Tommy Brown the Technician came out to take a look at the fridge and was a very friendly person and returned the next day with some new parts to repair the problem.

Mr. Garcia, was such a help. He showed us that our problem was in the programming of the oven and he showed us how to correct the programming. He even forwarded a homeowner's manual to us that we never had. You could clone this young man and your business would skyrocket. I commend him and your business for such wonderful customer service. Shawn always showed up on time, was very courteous and was able to assess the problem with our Whirlpool washer and order the parts, then returned in a timely manner for the repair. I would use this company again and give them a 5 star recommendation.

Richard is the definition of professionalism. He explained everything he was doing. The part he replaced did not ultimately solve the problem, but it was no fault of his. He work very efficiently, cleaned up and always respected our house. Thanks Richard for giving an A+ effort although the refrigerator won this round.

A Very Pleasant and Honest Service Call

This is the first time ever that I used Appliance Care. I had to use their service because they are contracted service providers of Kitchen Aid; and trained and certified technicians by Kitchen Aid for the Corpus Christi area. After I contacted Kitchen Aid and made a service appointment, I was almost immediately contacted by Appliance Care via email to confirm all the details of the appointment including a picture of the technician who would coming out to service my dishwasher. I really liked the fact that the company was very mindful of my safety and security and wanted me to know ahead of time the identity of the service tech. who would be coming out. My appointment was scheduled for 11:00 AM; however, the tech. arrived around 10:30 AM. But he was very respectful of my time and didn't ring the bell early and waited in his truck for the scheduled time. I happened to notice his truck parked in my front drive way so I I went outside and told him him it was perfectly fine if he started earlier in my home. Actually I was happy he came earlier. However, he did initially apologize for being early and hoped he did not inconvenience me. I invited him inside into the kitchen and explained to him the issues I was experiencing. He politely explained to me that I would be charged $105 for the service which I told was reasonable for him coming out to investigate, and I had no problem with that. Actually Maytag also told me that when I made the appointment. Then he said the proceed and try to diagnose the problem, and afterward he diagnosed the problem; he would prepare for me a written estimate for parts and labour to fix the problem and would review it with me and wait for my decision to approve and proceed or not. He was very professional and polite, and not pushy. He gave me the sense that he was there to help me by identifying the problem and a solution with a detailed list of expenses so that it would be up to me to determine how I wanted to proceed based on a costs/benefits analysis basis. I really liked how he in addition to showing me physically in detail the specific items that were failing and would need to be replaced. But he went a further step and with his cell phone made a live video showing me where and how it was leaking and so forth. This information only confirmed what I thought to be the problems. Since I have a physical disability and don't have the motor skills and physical strength to repair the dishwasher as I would have done several years ago when I was in better shape; I thanked him for coming out and told him that the cost to repair the machine was not justified, and I would probably be purchasing a new dishwasher. He totally understood and empathetic with the decision I made. He gathered up his tools, equipment, etc. and checked the work area to make sure it was a clean as it was when he arrived. He thanked me for the business, and said to call if I had any further questions or concerns. I then walked him out and back to him truck and he departed.

Once I gots through to the sign in system the service and cooperation was great. It was very hard to call using the telephone because of waiting time. Once I was able to make contact using my computer/cell phone the cooperation and communication was very good

Still Not Fixed

John has been out 3 times to work on the fridge now and the last time completely replaced the ice maker with a new unit (bc that’s what was recommended by him after 2 other fixes didn’t work). Ice maker is still not working and I’ve had to call for another service repair (5th one to schedule in almost 2 months.

John was excellent, He did a great job fixing the fridge. He was social and didn’t mind me asking questions on how the system worked. Even though he was behind in his schedule due to having to drive from corpus to Victoria he still took the time to complete the job thoroughly. He also didn’t mind taking the time to explain things to me. I noticed on the tracker he had 8-9 stops that day, which doesn’t account for drive time in his schedule. Having worked in delivery for years I have had to work many late nights due to sales over booking and not accounting for drive time on routes. Dependable and courteous workers are hard to come by, take care of them by not spreading them too thin and overbooking by not accounting for drive time. Take care of your employees and they will always take care of the company.
