The customer said the dryer would start by itself when she turns the timer selections without pushing the start button. The appliance didnt start by itself when I turned the timer to timed dry or any other selections but when I push the start button, the appliance is starting up normal but wont stay on it shuts off. The voltage is normal and not fluctuating when I start it up. The customer said drains out from the bottom. F8E1 long fill/no fill error code, cleared error code and activated the valve to fill the tub, water started coming out the bottom. The water is coming from the drain pump, all the hoses and pressure tube are in good condition, drain pump needs to be replaced. Installed new control, plugged it in and it powered on. The water was off on arrival, turned the water on at the wall and water started shooting out from the hot side underneath the console. Inspected unit, pulled one error code F8E1 long fill. Noticed display flashing irregular numbers and shapes, possible issue with display or control will need to replace both to resolve this. Hinge has issues, will need to be replaced and bellow has some points which are misshapen. These will need to be replaced as well. John arrived early in both instances. The first time, even though he didn’t have the needed part on hand, he was able to make my washing machine work. When he came back with the part, he was in and out in record time. John was very professional.
