Installed solenoid, vacuumed unit. Make sure valve was at full open before vacuuming lines. But unit down to -30 bars, noticed lost vacuum fairly quickly. Charged unit with refrigerant, with throughout unit to look for leak using bubble solution and UV light. Was not able to locate leak anywhere around unit. Unit discharged fairly quickly, attempted another charge, turn compressor on so unique and pressurize and sit down unit to see if leak can be located. While searching could hear a gargling bubbling sound coming from a spot on rear of unit. Placed ear on Spot and could hear the leak was within the wall of unit. The area where the gargling is occurring has a pretty decent dent which may have been the cause for the line to leak. At this time unit is unrepairable. Explain findings to customer, explained that I would not be able to repair as issue is internal.

Inspected unit, looks like you did has issue with three way valve. Unit does not appear to be cooling in either section. It is also possible that control its not allowing valves to open. Will order components to resolve issue;

Customer states that washer is making loud noises in all cycles. Put in troubleshooting mode to pull codes; F7E7 (motor unable to reach target RPM), F0E5 (off balance), F7E5 (shifter fault) were faults showing. Tip over and check splutch for proper operation. Transmission gear is not fully engaging, which caused splutch not to properly run. Teeth on transmission worn. Recommend replacing transmission , splutch , and hub.Belt has cut groove into pulley, so replace belt also. Please reschedule when parts arrive

Since September 2 we have been dealing with this. 2 months!! We now have been told after all the visits and all the money that the 6 year old Kitchenaid ref is non repairable? We are senior citizens living on a fixed income who cannot afford this! If Kitchenaid cannot have this repaired they need to provide us themselves with a brand new equal refrigerator. You are certified Kitchenaid Repair and they need to settle this as soon as possible to make both of us whole. Tried since 10 this morning to get a manager with no luck. Very inept.
