Customer reported sparking in unit. Upon arrival found hole in waveguide cover on top inner part of cabinet. Removed waveguide cover and found that the enamel on cabinet was damaged probably due to continuous sparking. Called techline and techline requested pics of the enamel damage/pitting. After techline received pic he stated that unit will be marked as unrepairable and that he was sending job in for review. Let customer know the result that techline came up with. Techline stated that someone will be reaching out to customer in the next 5-7 work days. Unit is considered unrepairable. Let customer know someone would be reaching out soon to see how they will proceed. Sr 7735502548

Customer reported unit not filling properly as well as leaking and unit making excessive noise. Upon arrival found that excessive noise was coming from the drain pump. Removed drain pump and found nail stuck inside drain pump which was causing the excessive noise. As for the water valve found valve corroded as well as valve making a weird noise when tying to fill. I could see water marks on the back panel as if water was slowing leaking from the valve as well. Ordering new water valve. Will return with part to complete repair.; ordrng 1 W11165546 (Water valve)

Customer reported unit will randomly shut off during cycle. Sometimes the customer will have to unplug unit to get unit started again and sometimes the customer will be able to press power on to start unit again. Tested unit and could not get unit to mimic issue. Made sure the plug was connected properly at terminal with no loose wiring and proper connections. Called techline and after multiple tests techline stated it looked like a power failure issue from either the control or interface but since we could not get issue to mimic we cant be certain which part is at fault. Customer reported leaking every so often from the unit when in use. Customer reported leak as small puddle. Tested unit and could not find any leaking. Called tech line and after thorough inspection found that bellows was damaged. Techline stated that the damaged bellows could cause sporadic leaking occasionally. Ordering bellows. Upon arrival with parts and 3 calls with techline and multiple part instillations we found that the cabinet was damaged at each of the interlock switches which is why the transformer was not getting proper voltage. Sent techljne multiple pics of the damage. Techline deemed unit un repairable. I had been instructed to try multiple checks and part changes from techljne but nothing worked. The 3rd person I talked to from techline told me to check for damage at the interlock switches and thats when I found that there were multiple dented spots. Gave customer the whirlpool customer service number along with SR number. Customer will call into whirlpool to see how whirlpool will proceed In the replacing process.Sr 7735454618

Daniel was great. The parts took 3 months to arrive but that wasn’t his fault. We did have to replace the AC cord after he left, as the voltage was fluctuating and he suspected it was the AC outlet.
