Our service charge is for our technician’s trip to your home and is not applied toward the repair cost. Once in your home, our technician will perform thorough diagnostic testing on your unit and provide you a quote for any parts that may be needed to correctly complete the repair and the labor to install them.

Sadly, supply lines are still adversely affected by the pandemic, and we are too often finding it impossible to obtain some parts in the timely manner that we are otherwise used to. Please be assured we are doing everything possible to obtain what’s required for the completion of your repair. We know it’s important to you. It is likewise important to us. We’ll contact you for scheduling just as soon as we have the needed parts. If we have not yet contacted you, we do not have any new information to provide.

To ensure your unit continues to function properly after we complete the repair, we source our parts from our factory-certified parts distributors. This not only ensures the parts we are using for your repair are genuine parts but also ensures that they are not refurbished and are of the best quality and will ensure the best lifespan possible for your unit. We pride ourselves on quality over quantity and want to deliver that to our customers as well.

We are unable to replace units as we only repair them. If you would like your unit replaced you will need to reach out to the manufacturer or your extended warranty company directly if applicable.

Yes! Here at ApplianceCare, we stand behind our technicians and our work. All parts that are installed come with a 1-year warranty and our service and labor charges come with a 90-day warranty should you experience the same issue with your unit during that 90-day time frame. This warranty, however, does not cover any new or additional issues that present themselves.

While we don’t guarantee specific time frames, we do our best to accommodate customer requests. We understand that not everyone has open availability and it can be tricky to coordinate to be home for a technician. To help make things a little easier, we will narrow down your time frame to a two-hour window for the technician’s arrival the evening before your appointment. Once the routing has been completed the day before your appointment, an automated phone call or text message as well as an email is sent out the evening before your appointment around 5:45 PM to confirm this time frame and the technician will call when he is on his way.

To better serve you and try to get you taken care of in one visit, based on the description of the issue you are experiencing with your unit that was given to us, our lead technician will determine if any particular part is likely to be needed for repair before a technician comes to your home. We will order this part or parts to have them on hand for the technician for your scheduled appointment. If the part(s) do not arrive in time we will reach out to let you know and cancel your appointment and reach out to schedule once the part(s) arrive. If you would like us to come out to your home prior to receiving your pre-screened parts, please let us know at least one day before your original appointment via contact form and we will honor your original appointment slot.

We would be happy to schedule with you directly, however, your extended warranty company would not cover any of the costs and you would be financially responsible for the repair. If you have any type of coverage, you will need to contact that company directly for the repair to be covered properly.
